STUDIO
STUDIO VIDAS is a place where craftsmanship forms the foundation of everything. Sara Vidas brings together all her experiences and interests from two decades of creative work and leads them back to their artisanal core. here, tailoring skills, selected vintage pieces, and the development of her own designs meet. This is complemented by projects with guests whose particular skills broaden the studio’s scope. In this way, a space emerges in which fashion, art, and craft practice enter into dialogue with one another.
SCHNEIDEREI KEEL
Schneiderei Keel has been active in its space on Oetenbachgasse 13 for twenty years. now, it is opening its doors to studio vidas, creating new synergies. clients can continue to rely on the craft of Agnes Keel’s tailoring studio, have alterations made, and expect precise tailoring, while studio vidas designs its own collections and individual pieces, produced in close collaboration with the tailoring studio. Anyone purchasing from studio vidas can also have adjustments made directly on-site. The result is a shared place that opens up new possibilities for both sides and for everyone involved.
VINTAGE
STUDIO VIDAS also includes a carefully curated world of vintage. It features a selected collection of special garments, accessories, and objects. Pieces that stand out through their cut, material, or presence, and that fit into this small, distinct universe. Suppliers can bring in their vintage items, which are chosen personally. the selection follows no fixed concept; instead, it is guided by the vision that each piece should be interesting in its own right and possess a particular quality.
PRODUCTION
STUDIO VIDAS s also produces its own creations and takes on commissions. Every piece developed or designed so far has been made from pre-existing garments.
GUESTS
Special projects with guests are an essential part of STUDIO VIDAS. Alongside the space for its own designs, other designers are invited and offered a place where they can present or sell their work. The focus is usually on other product categories, though clothing can also find its place. Each invited person is strongly rooted in craft within their practice—whether illustration, visual art, ceramics, or other disciplines—creating opportunities for collaboration.
